MELCHIZEDEK OFFERS BREAD AND WINE TO THE PATRIARCH ABRAHAM: Moretta da Brescia 1498-1554. 

Both King David and Jesus are described in the Bible as being Priests in the Order of Melchizedek, not the Levitical priesthood of Aaron and Moses. Melchizedek was the Pagan Priest King of Jerusalem and anointed Abraham in the name of the Most High God. 

The ritual of bread and wine, known as Holy Communion, or the Eucharist, partaking in the body and blood of Christ, predates the Last Supper by more than 2000 years. The Gospel of John completely omits the Eucharist from the Last Supper, and replaces it with the New Commandment to Love One Another. Why?
