I found this marble rendering of the symbol in the foyer of a building, directly opposite the oldest church in Cape Town, South Africa. The building was designed by Sir Herbert Baker, a prominent English architect and Freemason. What I like about it is the fact that it’s not just speculative Freemasonry, but Operative. 

Masons not only philosophising about the mysteries, but practically using their spiritual knowledge as architects. Sir Herbert Baker was also the architect of St Georges Cathedral, where one of the stained glass windows of the Last Supper featured on this page can be found. Cape Town is filled with many secrets and mysteries, a fascinating place to visit and explore.
