For the record, 47 allowed this enormous golden statue to be used in Elon Musks Grok AI dystopian vision of Gaza – The Riviera of the Middle East. Not only did he consent, he posted the video on Truth Social. The President of the United States of America, just wow. 

If it wasn’t so disturbing it would be funny. But it’s not, at least I don’t think so. The words kitsch, garish, and corny spring to mind, yet it’s more than that. It’s dark in a mean spirited and malicious kind of way. All I see is a golden statue of an extremely dangerous and megalomaniacal bully.

Dionysus offered Midas his choice of whatever reward he wished for. Midas asked that whatever he might touch should be changed into gold.
