I’m not anti-Catholic, but I sure am paying attention to the shadowy group behind Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation and mastermind of PROJECT 2025. Roberts delayed publishing his book about Project 2025, scheduled for release on 24 September 2024. Dawn’s Early Light: Burning Down Washington to Save America, was released on 12 November, one week after the election.
JD Vance wrote the foreword, and Roberts altered the title – Taking Back Washington, instead of Burning Down Washington. If Americans understood what was going to happen to them after reading his book, things might have been very different, hence the reason he postponed publishing until after the election.
Some people will be aware of Opus Dei, as they were the antagonists in Dan Browns Da Vinci Code. They have been referred to as the Holy Mafia, and a Christian form of Freemasonry due to their secrecy and behind the scenes activity. Basically the Deep State of the Catholic Church. Kevin Roberts, the Darkhitect of Project 2025, receives regular ‘spiritual guidance’ from the Catholic Information Center based in Washington D.C. The Center forms part of the archdiocese and is led by an Opus Dei priest. Opus Dei in turn is vehemently opposed to the Jesuits, the group Woke Pope Francis belongs to.
– Opus Dei (Latin for ‘Work of God’) is an institution of the Catholic Church that was founded in Spain in 1928 by Josemaría Escrivá. The group is considered controversial and has been criticised for having cult-like qualities. Opus Dei has also been accused of elitism through targeting of “the intellectual elite, the well-to-do, and the socially prominent”.
Controversies about Opus Dei have centered on allegations of secretiveness, but also on sexual abuse cases in Spain, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, and the United States; cases that were investigated and canonical sanctions were applied to the perpetrators. Controversies have to do with recruiting methods aimed at teenagers becoming numeraries; the illicit use of psychiatric drugs in its central headquarters; the misleading of its lay faithful about their status and rights under Canon Law; the “mortification of the flesh” practiced by its celibate members (cilice, discipline, and sleeping on a board); elitism and misogyny; and support of authoritarian or right-wing governments, including the reactionary Franco regime.
The Superior-General of the Society of Jesus Fr. Wlodimir Ledóchowski (1866–1942) later told the Vatican he considered Opus Dei “very dangerous for the Church in Spain.” He described it as having a “secretive character” and saw “signs in it of a covert inclination to dominate the world with a form of Christian Masonry.”
Opus Dei has been accused of supporting Totalitarianism, during the first part of the 20th century, and afterward far-right governments. Opus Dei’s history parallels that of Francisco Franco’s conservative dictatorship in Spain, and was first developed during the troublesome years of the interwar period, along with the dictatorships of António de Oliveira Salazar and Adolf Hitler, and Benito Mussolini’s fascist regime. Some of Franco’s ministers were from Opus Dei.
Messori, a journalist associated with Opus Dei, also identifies political ideology as the root of some controversies involving some Jesuits. After Vatican II certain sectors of the Church became politically and theologically liberal, including Jesuits in Latin America who were experimenting with liberation theology. In contrast, some Opus Dei laymen had been working for the far-right Franco regime in Spain and similar regimes in Latin America. Escrivá himself gave a spiritual retreat to Franco, and the numerary priest and bishop Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne was reportedly friendly with Peru’s president Fujimori and unsupportive of human rights advocates. – Wiki –
