He also warned both Iran and Hamas that they are walking on thin ice, threatening them with fire and brimstone. Syria is in chaos and Israel sees an unprecedented opportunity to exploit the dynamic. Hezbollah in Lebanon has been severely undermined and rendered almost impotent. All these factors taken together point to the predictability of what comes next, unholy war.
Both Israel and America have rejected the Arab League’s plan for Gaza. To enforce their own version, which could even go as far as declaring the entire Palestine to be incorporated into Israel, they need to eliminate any resistance. The Saudis are on board as they feel threatened by Shia Iran. Only Turkey can offer any real push back against Israel, but they are majority Sunni, complicating any alliance with Iran.
What I find astounding is that Trump goes easy on Putin, yet Iran and China, supposedly America’s biggest enemies, supported, and are currently still supporting Russia against Ukraine. How can Rightwing Christians not be aware of this Incongruence. Muslims and Communists helping a Christian nation destroy another Christian nation. And Americans believe they can create a pact with the devil, they are naive and delusional.
What will Putin do if Trump decides to go after Iran? Will he be satisfied with receiving the land he stole in Ukraine, or will he need more concessions? I guess we’re gonna find out soon enough. What Musk and Doge are doing in America is a microcosm of what America under Trump is going to do on a macrocosmic scale.

UPDATE – 30/3: 2024 NewsNation) — President Trump has warned Iran he will bomb their country should they not agree to a nuclear weapons deal to restrain the country’s nuclear program, after the Middle Eastern country said Sunday it rejected direct negotiations with the U.S.,
“If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing and it will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before,” Trump said in a comment aired Sunday on NBC News.
Trump also warned an imposition of “secondary tariffs” on Iranian oil would be possible, meaning countries that buy Iranian oil would be faced with U.S. tariffs.

“There’s a chance if they don’t make a deal, that I will do secondary tariffs on them like I did four years ago,” Trump said.

The total cost of the US military’s operation against the Iran-backed Houthi militants in Yemen is nearing $1 billion in just under three weeks, even as the attacks have had limited impact on destroying the terror group’s capabilities, three people briefed on the campaign’s progress told CNN.
The military offensive, which was launched on March 15, has already used hundreds of millions of dollars worth of munitions for strikes against the group, including JASSM long-range cruise missiles, JSOWs, which are GPS-guided glide bombs, and Tomahawk missiles, the sources said.
B-2 bombers out of Diego Garcia are also being used against the Houthis, and an additional aircraft carrier as well as several fighter squadrons and air defense systems will soon be moved into the Central Command region, defense officials said this week.
One of the sources said the Pentagon will likely need to request supplemental funding from Congress to continue the operation, but may not receive it — the offensive has already been criticized on both sides of the aisle, and even Vice President JD Vance said he thought the operation was “a mistake” in a Signal chat published by The Atlantic last week.
The Pentagon has not publicly disclosed what impact the daily US military strikes have actually had on the Houthis. Officials from the Pentagon’s Joint Staff, US Central Command, US Indo Pacific Command, Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, and the State Department told Congress in recent days that the strikes have eliminated several members of Houthi leadership and destroyed some Houthi military sites.
But they acknowledged that the group has still been able to fortify their bunkers and maintain weapons stockpiles underground, much as they did during the strikes that the Biden administration carried out for over a year, the sources said. And it has been difficult to determine precisely how much the Houthis still have stockpiled, a defense official said.
“They’ve taken out some sites, but that hasn’t affected the Houthis’ ability to continue shooting at ships in the Red Sea or shooting down US drones,” said one of the sources briefed on the operation. “Meanwhile, we are burning through readiness—munitions, fuel, deployment time.”
