GENIUS OR MORON? – “Navarro is truly a moron,” “Navarro is dumber than a sack of bricks.” Elon Musk made his feelings known loud and clear today. He was missing from the “Liberation Day” tariff announcement on Thursday, and as can be seen from the photo, there is obvious tension between the first buddy and Potus. Pointing ones finger in another person’s face is an universal sign of aggression and displeasure.
Reports suggest that Trump blew a gasket when he found out Musk attended a classified briefing on war plans regarding China.
Asked by reporters about the meeting on Friday, Trump said: “We don’t want to have a potential war with China, but I can tell you if we did, we’re very well equipped to handle it. But I don’t want to show [the plan] to anybody.”
He nodded to concerns about Musk’s visit to the Pentagon, which is drawing scrutiny over potential conflicts of interest, saying “you wouldn’t show it to a businessman”.
“Elon has businesses in China, and he would be susceptible perhaps to that,” Trump said. Tesla, Musk’s electric vehicle company, has two facilities in Shanghai, China. Starlink and SpaceX, two of Musk’s companies, also have contracts with the Pentagon.
Susceptible to what exactly, spying? That’s a rather big word to be throwing around after giving Musk unfettered access to the inner workings of the US government. Elon’s already got the goods and no one knows where he’s stashed it. What happens when they have a fall out? Will Trump arrest Musk and raid his offices and properties? Will he cancel all contracts even though the Penatagon and NASSA need him? Conflict of interest, what a laugh.
Some say White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles is behind Elon’s sudden fall from grace. He did have a heated interaction with Marco Rubio and clashed with a number of Cabinet members. I think Peter Thiel has been waiting for his moment to strike. Trump likes winners, and because Musk invested so much time, money and effort into the Wisconsin Supreme Court race, and still lost, it has created an opening. The China war plans dynamic is the perfect excuse to to use as to why the sudden change of heart.
And then for Musk to openly challenge Peter Navarro, the lack of brains behind Trump’s tariff circus, which is ultimately an attack on Trump himself, tells you there are some serious unresolved issues between them. Up to this point in the game, Elon’s been the genius, the boy wonder Trump loved showing off. So for Trump to exclude Musk from the tariff war by not heeding his advice is a seismic shift in the dynamic. Even Ben Shapiro has called on Trump to listen to Musk and change tact. In fact a civil war is about to burst into life the longer the carnage continues.
Some loyal soldiers are all in, but others have their doubts, and they are voicing them, openly, publicly, loudly. Joe Rogan and Dave Portnoy are expressing fears about Trump to their huge audiences. Even Fox host Jesse Watters admitted that he would be covering this whole drama differently if it was Joe Biden playing golf while the economy crashed.
Why does this provocative picture even exist, was it staged, because it sure doesn’t look good. Trump making a point of showing Musk who’s the real boss. And don’t forget that Elon has serious daddy issues. His own father Errol is a total loser, and now his new father is turning into his old father. He has dedicated tons of everything to the cause, way more than anyone else. He has literally put his money where his mouth is. I can’t see him take this very public humiliation lightly.
Tesla shares are already in terrible shape and Musk has lost tens of billions since joining the administration. The tariffs just added more pain and misery to the existing pain and misery. Trump is truly the master manipulator. Musk is now the problem and everything that DOGE did will be blamed on Elon, same as Navarro will take the fall if this tariff gamble backfires.
To add insult to injury, Peter Navarro called Elon a car salesman and encouraged him to stay in his DOGE lane. Get the popcorn out, Dark Gothic MAGA and America First MAGA are about to engage in an epic fight to the death. Will they end up destroying each other? Only time will tell.
Musk’s brother and fellow Tesla board member Kimbal Musk also lobbed sharp criticism at the president over the tariff policies Monday.
“Who would have thought that Trump was actually the most high tax American President in generations,” he wrote on X, the social media site Elon Musk owns. “Through his tariff strategy, Trump has implemented a structural, permanent tax on the American consumer.”
The remarks came less than a month after Kimbal Musk had thanked Trump for hosting an event featuring Teslas on the White House lawn. – WP –
THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
Trump was right about everything, not, Trump is right about everything, big difference.
