NATIONAL DAY OF BASHING DOWN THE WALL THAT SEPARATES CHURCH AND STATE: “After just 100 days in office, the president has inspired a spiritual revival in our nation. I just watched Donald Trump and White House Faith Advisor Paula White put up quite a show during National Prayer Day. Dr Phil called 47, a man of deep faith, of deep conviction. America is in much bigger trouble than many would like to admit. Trump openly boasted about how he is providing space for the Faith Office in the actual White House itself, completely ignoring the Constitution and 1st Amendment. 

– Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. –

SECOND COMING OF GOD: Since President Trump’s election, many in the evangelical community have lauded him, grateful for his work to protect and propel some of the Christian values we hold so dear. The support has been unwavering, as he enjoys high marks from about 70 percent of evangelicals, many of whom are so concerned with protecting their rights and key issues that they don’t want to do anything that might jeopardize that support for Trump and cause people to vote against him.

But perhaps one of Trump’s most disturbing steps came Wednesday, when the president, who claims to be a Christian, tweeted quotes of and therefore validated radio host Wayne Allyn Root’s words that “the Jewish people love [Trump] … like he’s the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God.”

Christians believe and profess that the only true “King of Israel” is God, as clearly stated in Isaiah 44:6, and that he sent his son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, into this world. That makes the description of Trump as “the second coming of God” shocking, blasphemous and sacrilegious. – Jay Lowder for the Washington Post.

“President, your first 100 days has far exceeded that of any other presidency in this country ever, ever. Never seen anything like it. Thank you,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi during the pageant of sycophancy at the Cabinet meeting. – CNN –

APOCALYPSE NOW? Donald Trump will be US president for a third term, his former adviser Steve Bannon has predicted. In an interview with the Mail’s David Patrikarakos for his podcast, Apocalypse Now?, Mr Bannon forecast that the president would find a way of running for a third term, and would win.

America’s constitution restricts presidents to a maximum of two terms in office – but Mr Trump has said he is ‘not joking’ about wanting a further four years in the White House. The Trump Organisation is selling red caps that read ‘Trump 2028’ in an apparent reference to the next US presidential election.

And when asked in an interview in March about the possibility of seeking a third term, Mr Trump said: ‘There are methods which you could do it.’
Responding to a question from Mr Patrikarakos about whether he thought this was realistic, Mr Bannon said: ‘Yes, President Trump is going to be eligible, is going to run again, and will win again.

‘And I will tell you, on the afternoon of the 20th January of 2029, he’s going be in the White House signing executive orders.’ – DM – 1 May.
