Trump’s America is the most corrupt, depraved, and lawless version of this once proud nation to ever exist. There is nothing even remotely great about what we are witnessing play out in real time. In exactly one week from today, Donald Trump will host the largest military parade to grace the streets of D.C. in decades. Please explain to me how a president that incited his cult like militia to attack the United States Capitol on J6 is back in charge?
How Republicans, and even more pertinently, Christians, could consciously choose to re-elect a soulless madman is beyond the pale. I watched the entire drama unfold on live television, as did millions of other people around the world. To say I was shocked is an understatement of epic proportions.
But you know what shocked me even more, the fact that Mitch McConnel and other GOP Senators failed to convict him. They had the chance to completely remove him from American politics, yet the lure of future power was just too great to ignore. And now that they’ve got what they wanted, just look at the mess Trump has made in less than six months. It makes me sick to my stomach.
And you know what’s even worse, the fact that more than half of Americans are ok with it all. They are so deluded that they actually believe they are patriots engaged in a battle for the soul of America. Donald Trump doesn’t have a soul you fools, he is using you to further enrich himself at the expense of We the People. The only thing that makes any sense is that the majority of Americans share these distorted values. He is their Retribution, and that is the most sickening truth of all.
SCUM OF THE EARTH: Five former members of the Proud Boys are looking for a little revenge after getting a pardon from Donald Trump, filing a $100million lawsuit against the Department of Justice.
One of the first moves of Donald Trump’s second term was to pardon all January 6 defendants which included members of the far right Proud Boys.
Former Proud Boys chairman Enrique Tarrio, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl, Ethan Nordean and Dominic Pezzola have filed the suit in Orlando federal court.
While Tarrio received a pardon, the other four plaintiffs had their sentences commuted. The lawsuit said all four applied for pardons on May 13.
They claim their constitutional rights were violated when they were prosecuted for their participation in the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
The suit seeks unspecified compensatory damages plus 6% interest and $100 million plus interest in punitive damages.
‘There was hostages in this country,’ Tarrio said during a news conference Friday afternoon.
‘It’s not about any other country today, and that’s why this lawsuit is so important to bring back law and order into our system.’

A CHILLING MESSAGE: The Trump administration will pay a $4.975 million settlement in the lawsuit over the wrongful death of Ashli Babbitt, who was killed by a U.S. Capitol Police officer after storming the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Babbitt — a 35-year-old from California and veteran of the Air Force who went to Washington for President Donald Trump’s rally — was among an early group of rioters that reached the doors of the Speaker’s Lobby, adjacent to the House chamber, while lawmakers were still evacuating.
Details of the settlement were released by Judicial Watch, a pro-Trump advocacy group that represented her estate and family members in the lawsuit. The Department of Justice did not immediately respond to request to comment.
The settlement is likely to inflame tensions on Capitol Hill over the riot. Outgoing Capitol Police chief Thomas Manger blasted the reported settlement last month, saying it “sends a chilling message to law enforcement nationwide, especially to those with a protective mission like ours.”
As members of the mob standing near Babbitt pounded on the doors and cracked glass window panes, outnumbered police officers stepped aside and ceded the hallway to the rioters. Moments later, Babbitt is seen on video attempting to enter the lobby through a shattered window. That’s when Capitol Police officer Michael Byrd fired the fatal shot.
