Let’s clear something up right off the bat. The creative energy behind Holy Incongruence is a white middle aged heterosexual Afrikaner man from South Africa. Born at the height of Apartheid in the 1970’s and raised in a large conservative Christian family, B, experienced the very destructive ideology of white christian nationalism first hand. To complicate matters, he was forced to attend church on both a Saturday and Sunday, as his parents belonged to different Protestant denominations. B’s family was slightly unique as his mom is English and dad Afrikaans. The kids were in fact not allowed to attend moms church as dad wanted them to be indoctrinated into the state religion, Dutch Reformed Church. Mom used to make up stories so that the children could be doubly indoctrinated by also attending the Seventh Day Adventist church. Although B much preferred the vibe of the SDA, they were in fact way more intense than the Dutch Reformed Dominion Theologists. Everything was about the Second Coming, the End Times, the Apocalypse, Armageddon, and the Last Judgement. It was scary as all hell, and to make it even worse, geopolitical events were interpreted according to biblical prophecy. The Soviet Union represented this symbol, and China that one, everything was interwoven and ultimately focussed on Israel and Jerusalem as the be all and end all.

Dad’s Christianity was more interested in the here and now and how to maintain strict racial hierarchies to benefit the few at the expensive of the many. Christian capitalism in other words. Mom’s religion taught B to hate Catholics and to be weary of any Christian that attended church on a Sunday. Dad, who attended church on a Sunday, taught B to really, really hate black people, Jewish people, communists, socialists, marxists and of course, that gays were sick, and that women were less than men, and therefore needed to be subservient. Basically dad was the boss, the king of his own private little kingdom. The only thing that could ruin his peace and tranquility, were those bloodthirsty and uneducated black people which he used to call the most despicable names. Top of the list was Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, ever heard of them? The point of this long intro, which is also my mini bio, is that B experienced a ton of conditioning as a child. Thankfully Mandela was released from prison in 1990 when he was 13, and this led to his teenage years mirroring huge global events. The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, and finally, South Africa’s first free and fair election in 1994. B was 17 at the time and therfore couldn’t vote. But what he could do, and has been doing since he was about 12, is question his own personal narrative.

B hated school, and hated the fact that his life was predetermined. The future was planned out for him by his parents, Afrikaner culture, and society. Attend university, maybe play professional sport, meet a nice girl, marry, have kids, and live unhappily ever after. Why unhappily, well, because B had many doubts about his conditioning. Nelson Mandela didn’t turn out to be the Antichrist, black people didn’t kill white people in the streets, in fact life was much freer and more relaxed. Living in Apartheid required a constant state of hyper vigilance which was very stressful. Die Swart Gevaar, or Black Danger was a constant refrain. As were the End of the World prophecies pushed by his mother and grandmother. He just couldn’t take it anymore and decided to leave university after a few months, and embark on an epic quest in search of truth. B was encouraged to only read the Bible as any and all religions apart from certain Protestant denominations were bad, even evil. This limited understanding of the world spurred him on to learn more, to educate himself, and the only way B could realistically do so, was to travel the world. He wanted to experience life first hand, not from stories he heard, books he read, or movies he watched. Although South Africa wasn’t completely cut off form the world during the period of sanctions, the government did control the flow of knowledge.

In order to overcome this indoctrinated limitation, B had to break free, truly break free. He even had to gamble with his very soul, as everything he was taught was oriented to scaring him to death. In short, he had to eat from the Tree of Knowledge, and disobey God, a huge psychological hurdle to overcome. He wasn’t anti-religion, he just intuitively felt there had to be more to life than what he was exposed to as a child. B wasn’t fulfilled, that’s the honest truth. His travels took him to Israel, Egypt, India, Gabon, Peru, Nepal, Bolivia, Cambodia, and many other fascinating places. Unlike his peers, B wanted to experience life outside of Western European culture. No culture or religious expression was off limits. obviously he wasn’t attracted to dark stuff, and still isn’t. But what is dark, that’s the question? B was taught that everything outside of his religion and culture was evil, everything. No ifs or buts. And guess what he discovered, it’s all a load of bs, and even more curious was the discovery that many of the cultures he wasn’t supposed to explore, in fact inspired his own culture and religion. That’s what people don’t understand, Judaism and Christianity are not unique, but form part of a universal religion spanning the entire planet.

What we are taught in church is not the full story, it is but a small part of much much bigger story. B’s journey finally led back home and allowed him to see my his own culture and religion through different eyes. Hidden amongst the noise was a hidden world of symbols and knowledge restricted to only a few initiates of one or the other Western mystery school traditions. The teachings of the Knights Templar, Rosicrucians, Alchemists, Freemasons and other secret societies whom embodied the epitome of evil. Other cultures were bad, but these Christian heretics were particularly bad. Now B knows why, they hold the key that unlocks the Bible and Western civilisation. Their beliefs completely disrupt, deconstruct, and dismantle traditional Christian beliefs. Not because they are trying to be mean, no, but because they discovered the secrets and mysteries hidden in the Bible, an alternative perspective. Secrets shared with mystical Jews and Muslims alike, secrets that totally remove the need for conflict between the three Abrahamic faiths. Which brings us back full circle to religious ideology influencing geopolitical events.

What is playing out in America and Israel today is a blend of the indoctrination of B’s youth. White supremacist Christian nationalism (dominion theology), mixed with Apocalyptic fundamentalism hell bent on pushing the earth into the abyss of total annihilation in the hopes of triggering the Second Coming of Christ. It is a dark and dangerous ideology spreading like wildfire across the Christian world. It is an ideology that is vehemently opposed to Enlightenment ideals, human rights, democracy, liberty, freedom, and scientific progress. They are determined to rewrite history by proclaiming that America was founded as a Christian nation, thereby giving them the opportunity to reinforce their Christian fascist authoritarian white supremacist ideology. They don’t intend to only enforce this ideology onto Americans, but across the world, as they are convinced that they, and they alone are the chosen people to reinstitute God’s kingdom on earth.

Holy Incongruence is beholden to no one. No Secret society, no culture, nationality or religion, only truth. B’s job is to educate, inspire, empower, and teach the secrets and mysteries hidden in the Bible, Western culture, and global culture, to those willing to question the narrative, to expand beyond their condition. Knowledge leads to understanding and gives birth to wisdom. As we learn new things, our neurones fire and make new connections in the brain, thereby expanding our minds. Learning can be a spiritually enlightening experience. Questioning the narrative challenges our own inherent biases and allows us to be more empathetic and compassionate. Instead of us and them, we transform our limited perspective to include all people and all cultures. Discovering the existence of a truly universal religion, a spiritual-scientific philosophy, helps us overcome the illusion of seperation. B invites you to join him on a truly magical journey into the unknown, a place that seems more scary than it really is, in fact, it will be eerily familiar to some of you that are brave enough to forget in order to remember.

end of apartheid forced me to question my own narrative. travel expand my point of view, 30 years later teach what I’ve discovered. it might seem strange that the metaphysical and geopolitical worlds intersect, yet one glance at global politics today, and it is easy to see that they very much do. the Wall of Separation between church and state was meant to stop this from happening, unfortunately the wall is severely cracked and on the verge of collapsing. Holy Incongruence is a project dedicated to rebuilding the broken parts and fixing the cracks. the only way to do this is by question the narrative. we have to question our own metaphysical beliefs in order to understand how these beliefs impact and influence the world around us. some metaphysical beliefs are more destructive than others, none more so than the three Abraham religions of judaism, Christianity, and islam. all three have an Apocalyptic view of the world which inevitably impacts geopolitics. when leaders and political parties use religion in their decision making, the consequences are felt by all, religious or none religious. this is even more of a problem when these beliefs encourage, instead of discourage war. they have no incentive to have peace, as peace directly impacts their metaphysical ideology. therefore, it is paramount to question and study these beliefs, as hundreds of millions of people are misinformed about their own religious ideology. instead of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, holy incongruence is dedicated to offering a very different perspective on the stories and legends found in the Bible. the reason for this is because of personal conditioning. as with so many others, Christianity, and Protestantism in particular, played and continues to play a large role in many of our lives. as does catholicism and eastern orthodox christianity. all the major flashpoints on earth which could ignite ww3 are due to religious conditioning. from russia and ukraine to israel america iran and saudi arabia. in fact this war is not only amongst themselves, but with western culture in general. all the progress made since the enlightenment is under attack from religious zealots. two very distinct and some people think, irreconcilable differences exist between science and secular humanism on the one hand, and religion, and the supernatural on the other. holy incongruence intends to build a bridge between science and the sacred. in order to build this bridge, we must be courageous enough to open our minds, which in turn will lead to an opening of our hearts. to be informed is to be empowered. knowledge leads to understanding which in turn gives birth to wisdom. as we learn new things, our neurons create new pathways in our brain, which literally expands our mind. we have to unlearn, decondition, and deconstruct our beliefs in order to rise like the phoenix from the ashes of our condition. once we have achieved liberation, we can then not only build a bridge between science and the Abrahamic faiths, but also between different religions and culture that fall outside the scope of judaism, chrirtishty and islam. bacecue ultimately, the philosophy and ideas found in the old religions influenced the big three, and can be found at the very core of these religions. even though this would be classified as hersey, it is not. how can we possibly have a relationship with God or a higher power if we aren’t properly informed about our own beliefs, beliefs we take for granted as being true and infallible. they are not.
