– THE CHRISTOFASCIST DIGITAL CAGE: 

I would love to tell you that the next phase of the chaos will be less intense, but then I’d be lying. Donald Trump now has absolute power. The Executive bends to his will, the Supreme Court is his court, and Congress, both the House and Senate, are corrupt and unwilling to temper the president’s outrageous behavior. Trump is busy destroying America from the inside out. 

Not only is he doing Putin’s bidding on the world stage, but if Trump is in fact a Russian agent called Krasnov, Putin couldn’t do a better job of neutering America if he tried. This is the ultimate revenge for the collapse of the Soviet Union. Trump has alienated the entire Western world, destroyed decades of partnerships, the exact thing that made America so powerful, and has now added a tremendous burden by signing the ‘Big Ugly Hateful Bill’ into law. 

America is already struggling with 36 trillion worth of debt. Trump just added to this unsustainable path by planting land mines of fiscal irresponsibility that will be incredibly difficult to navigate in the not too distant future. Added to this is the insane tariff gamble that is not only threatening the stability of the US dollar, but the entire global economy. Job losses due to the integration of AI into the fabric of most companies will become the norm. In fact it has already started, the AI revolution is here, and most people are ill equipped to deal with what’s unfolding. 

Added to this is the nefarious use of AI by Palantir and the Trump regime to create a centralized database of every American citizen. Basically they will now be able to build a profile on people, and decide based on certain criteria, who is, and who is not a patriot. We will be hearing a lot more about ‘enemies of the state’, and other related terms. America tends to go through these phases of absolute control, the McCarthy era being a really good example. The Red Scare allowed the government to arrest, detain, and blacklist anyone they deemed to have communist sympathies. Maybe someone attended one rally or meeting when they were at university 20 years prior, marked as suspicious and in need of further investigation. 

This time it is Palestine and Gaza. We’ve already seen what happened to a student that merely wrote a letter, or another that posted something in support of human rights, not terrorism. This line has already been blurred, and any voices of dissent are now viewed as ‘enemies’. But this is only the start, soon it will be journalists, artists, intellectuals, progressives, anyone brave enough to speak the truth. By focusing on the few, they silence the many.

Thing is, Americans are used to their freedoms, in fact they like freedom very much. That’s why Trump needed to ensure he could corrupt the military by installing Pete Hegseth as the ‘man’. The big question on everyone’s lips is whether the military will obey illegal orders, which brings us back to the Court and Congress. Trump has been granted total judicial and legislative control. Troops will be disobeying the law by disobeying Trump, that’s how problematic reality has become. He has all of his ducks in a row. Project 2025 is now the law of the land. 

If people protest and things turn violent, all he does is declare Martial Law. Now the question is, how do you dislodge them without violence? By asking nicely, by appealing to their better angels? Without sounding dramatic, but current events have the American and French Revolutions written all over it. The American Revolution was ultimately about toppling a tyrannical king. The French Revolution was about a despotic ruler, but even more so about the church. These two forces have united to create a theocratic monarchy in America, learning from their past mistakes and thereby creating a monster of unrivaled power. 

As a special surprise for Trump’s bill being signed into law, Pete Hegseth arranged for a B-52 Bomber to do a fly over, the ultimate flex of military might. Trump is leaning into American strength, wielding it with utter irresponsibility and thoughtlessness. We are witnessing the end of the Republic, and the beginning of the American Empire. It happened in Rome, and now history is about to repeat itself, only this time, on a global stage. 

Will they be stopped before it’s too late? I honestly don’t know how to answer this question. We are currently in the midst of an unprecedented coup, something Americans have never had to deal with. From the War of Independence, to the Civil War and two World Wars, we have never seen anything remotely as problematic as this. The positive is that America survived these difficult times, and that gives me hope that the nation will survive again. Unfortunately the stakes are much higher this time. 

We are literally dealing with a Death Cult, on top of a Cult of Personality hell bent on destroying us in order to save us. The Iran adventure was a taste of how far they are willing to go. Without sounding overly dramatic, but they are mentally unwell, as in really really sick in body, mind, and spirit. We are certainly not entering the Golden Age, but a Christofascist AI driven Digital Cage.
