PRECESSIONAL MANDALA OF COMPASSION:

October 8, 2024

Borobudur in Java, Indonesia, was built during the 8th century and is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. A gigantic mandala representing Buddhist cosmology and the various stages of enlightenment, Borobudur, is divided into two different levels. The Rupadhatu level consists of exactly 432 statues of the Buddha, and the circular Arupadhatu level, 72. The entire mandala contains 504 statues.

These are not just some random numbers, they were chosen for a very specific reason, to encode the knowledge of the Precession of the Equinoxes in stone. Precession is a 25 920 year cycle that repeats endlessly, like the Ouroboros eating its tail. A different zodiacal constellation occupies the Spring/Vernal Equinox on the Eastern horizon for approximately 2160 years.

The 12 constellations each take a turn to become the ‘New Age’, until a newer age takes over. The Precessional cycle moves in the opposite direction to the yearly cycle of our sun through the zodiac. Instead of Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, the cycle is Aries, Pisces, Aquarius, hence the reason it is not called the New Age of Aries.

If we now turn our attention to the number of statues, the following emerges. It takes the sun approximately 72 years to move one degree along the ecliptic, 2160 years to complete 30 degrees, and 4320 years to complete 60 degrees of the 360 degree circle. The first level contains exactly 432 statues and the second level 72, 504 in total. 504 can be reduced to 54, and multiplied by four = 216, or 2160.

The code allows for a variety of different permutations that are all magically connected to the precessional numbers. A short post cannot do the topic justice as it takes years of study to master. Nevertheless, it is important to introduce the basic principles of the code.

Instead of adding the two levels together, 432 + 72 = 504, we can also multiply them. 432 x 72 = 31104. This number represents 12 cycles of 2592 years, 12 x 25 920 = 311 040. As you can see the only difference is one zero, a common feature of the code. 4320 can also be written as 432, 2160 as 216, 25 920 as 2592, 311 040 as 31104.

Borobudur is but one example of the precessional numbers being coded into sacred architecture. The universal language of numbers and geometry transcends culture and religion. Petty differences between faiths can not withstand the mathematical exactness of existence.
