TO AMERICAN HISTORY: The problem with pretending that America is not what it is, and is what it is not, forms part of a much bigger existential crisis gripping the Nation, and by association, the Western world. Conservatives want to whitewash the genocide of Natve Americans, slavery, segregation, the suppression of women and homosexuals, and at the same time claim the country is wholeheartedly a Christian nation.
They are clutching at straws in both instances. History did indeed happen as it happened, even when the victors were desperately trying to frame the narrative in their favor. Instead of embracing the truth, a large portion of Americans would prefer to live a lie. An even more problematic dynamic is the unmistakable pagan symbolism that literally sticks out like a giant obelisk on the National Mall in Washington DC, the heart of American culture and civilization.
Add to this the Apotheosis of Washington found on the inside of the Capitol Dome, dozens, if not hundreds of statues of Greek and Roman gods scattered across the city, and the fact that as many as 14 US Presidents have been Freemasons. Distinctively non Christian esoteric symbolism covers almost every nook and cranny of the city. Not to mention that many avenues are aligned to certain stars and planets.
The truth of the matter is as follows, Washington DC contains very few examples of Christian symbolism in its design, art, architecture, and alignments. Yes the outline of the McMillan Plan creates a cross, but this cross is actually an unfolded cube. Of all the cities I’ve studied, DC is by far the most interesting and mysterious. It hides so many secrets in plain sight, secrets that might be lost forever if the Trump administration and Project 2025 get their way.
Will these symbols be removed because they are ‘proof’ of the Deep State and New World Order? By cleansing and purifying the Capitol of all the so-called evil iconography, and by rededicating the country, as One Nation Under God, will Trump be Making America Great Again? If we consider the whole spiritual warfare angle and that the fundamentalists actually believe they are fighting against Satanic forces, could they really become the New ISIS by destroying history in order to revise it? Project the accusation of revision in order to do exactly that. Trump 101.
LIES AND INSANITY: March 27 (Reuters) – President Donald Trump on Thursday ordered that “improper, divisive or anti-American ideology” be removed from the Smithsonian Institution, the vast museum and research complex that is a premier exhibition space for U.S. history and culture.
The Republican president, in an executive order, directed that Vice President JD Vance undertake the action.
The order also directs the Interior Department to restore federal parks, monuments and memorials that have been “removed or changed in the last years to perpetuate a false revision of history.”
The order, titled “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History,” is vague about what the president views as anti-American ideology. But it suggests Trump is seeking to purge elements of what conservatives view as a revisionist history of the United States that places systemic racism at the heart of its narrative.
The Smithsonian spans 21 museums, most of them in the nation’s capital lining the mall from the U.S. Capitol to the Washington Monument.
The Smithsonian, whose website says it is the world’s largest museum, education and research complex, also encompasses 14 education and research centers, and the National Zoo.
The order is in line with the Trump administration’s efforts to do away with diversity and inclusion programs in government, universities and corporations.
Trump earlier this year made himself chairman of the Kennedy Center in Washington, indicating that he wants to leave his mark on U.S. arts and culture as part of his presidency. – James Oliphant, Steve Holland for Daily Maverick.
