Tropical, Sidereal, IAU. According to Tropical Astrology the sun moved into the constellation of Leo on 23 July and will stay until 22 August. 

Sidereal Astrology on the other hand says the sun will occupy Leo from 17 August until 16 September. Meaning we are currently still in Cancer. 

The International Astronomical Union measure the actual size of the constellations, and based on these calculations, the sun occupies Leo from 10 August – 16 September. 

Most posts on social media will and have focused on the Lions Gate and all sorts of amazing events that are supposedly happening. Unfortunately this information is old news, as in two thousand year old news. 

The heavens change every 2160 years as the sun occupies a different constellation on the eastern horizon during the vernal equinox. Precession of the Equinoxes as it is known in astronomy, is a 25 920 year period in which the sun travels through each of the twelve houses of zodiac. 

Tropical astrology doesn’t account for this movement and is therefore one sign ahead. What was true before, during, and after the birth of Christ, no longer is. The entire ideology surrounding the ‘New Age’, revolves around this cycle. We are moving from Pisces into Aquarius. 

The Transfiguration of Jesus is celebrated on 6 August because it would have occupied the central point of Leo in the past. 23 July – 6 August – 22 August. It is also close to the midpoint of 1 August that falls between the summer solstice and autumn equinox. This date was celebrated as the harvest festival in many parts of the world, including in the temples of Demeter and Persephone, the First Fruits. 

I will delve deeper into the symbolism of Leo, the King Star Regulus, and the influence of Sirius in a follow up post. The most important concept to grasp is the PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOXES. Without understanding this cycle, decoding the secret knowledge hidden in the Bible is all but impossible.
