Euphrosyne – Joy, Aglaia – Shining, Thalia – Blooming. Goddesses of human creativity, nature, charm, beauty, goodwill and fertility. The Graces played an important societal role in Ancient Greek and Roman culture. Hesiod mentioned them in 700 BC, 2600 years before they were painted on the ceiling of the Thomas Jefferson Building in the Library of Congress, 1897.
