Two Congressional lawmakers on Tuesday introduced a resolution that would prohibit U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran war. “This is not our war. Even if it were, Congress must decide such matters according to our Constitution,” Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., wrote on X.

The resolution said Congress has the sole authority to declare war.

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., who also introduced the resolution, said Americans don’t want to be “dragged into another disastrous conflict in the Middle East.”

“I’m proud to lead this bipartisan War Powers Resolution with Rep. Massie to reassert that any military action against Iran must be authorized by Congress,” he said.

SO-CALLED SENATORS: Trump’s support for Israel and the escalating conflict in Iran drew widespread praise from more hawkish Republicans and media personalities, including those of Fox News. 

Conservative radio host Mark Levin has taken an elevated role on the Fox News channel, making multiple appearances in prime time to praise Trump’s decision to back the military strikes on Iran.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has also appeared on the network to praise the president’s tough actions in support of Israel. 

Sen. Tom Cotton appeared on Levin’s Sunday show and called out the ‘so-called influencers or podcasters’ who were opposed to actions against Iran.

‘No offense but they don’t have the authority and accountability under our constitutional system,’ he said.

THE LOOMER SHITLIST: Investigative political activist Laura Loomer joined attacks on Carlson after the president criticized him, berating ‘every single right winger who is s**t talking Trump right now,’ asking her followers to keep a list.

Many of the president’s top MAGA influencers remain cautiously optimistic that the president will do the right thing, citing his history of reservations about getting into another protracted war in the Middle East.

‘President Trump knows his base. Have some faith in his ability to handle this. His whole life has led to this moment,’ Charlie Kirk wrote on X, sharing an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters.

‘President Trump knows his base does NOT want another Iraq or endless war.’

HIS MASTERS VOICE: On Monday morning, Trump posted on social media a long text sent to him from his Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee

‘You have many voices speaking to you sir, but there is only ONE voice that matters. HIS voice,’ Huckabee wrote. ‘I am your appointed servant in this land and am available for you but I do not try to get in your presence often because I trust your instincts.’

Huckabee wrote that God had ‘spared’ Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania for this moment in history.

If you ask me, the only voice Trump can hear is the THE VOICE OF EPSTEIN’S GHOST.

SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER: On Truth Social – a platform whose users are, unsurprisingly, generally supportive of Donald Trump – anti-war sentiment is increasingly evident in the comments.

Some of the comments appear to come from Trump’s MAGA base, to whom he previously pledged to avoid foreign entanglements and foreign wars after decades of messy US interventions in the Middle East and Afghanistan.

“No war with Iran. No more foreign wars,” one user wrote. “America first!”

Another user warned that US involvement in Israeli operations could cost the Republicans politically in the years ahead.

“Don’t do this,” the user wrote. “Republicans will never win again if you do this.” 

RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE: “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding.” “He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.” “But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” DT.

We’ve just had the third post from the US president in quick succession, in which he says: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!” DT. 

In the previous two, Trump had said “we now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran”, and claimed to know where the Iranian leader is, saying: “We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now”. DT. – Bernd Debusmann Jr – BBC.

WARMONGERING MADMAN: In a private phone call Monday, Sen. Lindsey Graham personally urged Trump to go “all in” to end Iran’s nuclear program, including using the might of the US military.

“I said, Mr. President, ‘This is a historic moment. Four presidents have promised that they won’t get a nuclear weapon on your watch. You can fulfill that promise,” the South Carolina Republican said a day afterward.

Graham, who is one of the GOP’s most hawkish voices on Iran, made clear to Trump he wants the US to intervene in the dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program more directly with American military resources, alongside Israel’s.

“If it takes bombs, bunker buster bombs, so be it. If we need to fly with Israel, so be it. The consequences of not getting this right are enormous,” Graham told reporters. CNN

THE CHOSEN BUM: Of all the people on earth, Donald Trump is the least likely to ‘hear’ the voice of God. Yet this is exactly what US Ambassador to Israel, pastor Mike Huckabee wants Trump to do. The Christian Zionist right wing Evangelicals are whispering in Trump’s ear. Sir, you were born for this exact moment. Mr. President, God saved you so that you can save Israel. This is your divine purpose, you are the Chosen One. It’s a load of bs of course, but that’s besides the point. 

The future of Christianity is on the line. They desperately need Trump to start another war to prove biblical prophecy right, their bank balances depend on it. This is by far the greatest grift in the history of the world. God clearly states in the Bible that not even Jesus knows the allotted hour.

So why defy God by interfering in worldly events? Who the hell do they think they are, God? Sounds more like anti-God to me, anti-Christian. They are way too big for their boots, and if anything, are damaging Christianity no end. In fact this could be the final nail in the coffin of the church, not its rebirth. The wanton destruction and lack of moral clarity will drive people away from religion, not closer to God.

WE DO NOT WANT THIS: Former UFC Champion Sean Strickland has made his stance on the United States’ involvement in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran clear.

The 34-year-old replied to a social media post from Trump, in which the Commander-in-Chief had boasted about the US military taking ‘complete and total control over the skies of Iran.’

‘America doesn’t want to be involved in Israel’s war…… This is not our war. We don’t want it. You were elected by the people. Listen to the people who elected you. WE DO NOT WANT THIS!!!!’ Strickland wrote in response. 

However, this isn’t the first time Strickland has expressed doubt in Trump’s administration since he returned to the Oval Office in January. 

Strickland was equally vocal against the US’s involvement in the conflict in the Middle East back in February amid reports of a deal for Trump to sell $8 billion worth of arms to Israel.

‘Man if Trump keeps this bs up I’m about to start waving a Palestinian flag.. American cities are shitholes and you wanna go spend billions on this dumpster fire.. Did we make a mistake?! This ain’t America first..’ Strickland wrote on X at the time. 

Strickland’s outrage comes after former MLB star Zack Cozart declared he would no longer support Trump if he leads America into war. 

‘If Trump gets us in a war, I will no longer support him, and I’m sure most of you know I love Trump,’ Cozart said on X.
