27 LILITH – THE FIRST EVE:

August 25, 2024

First adultery came into being, afterward murder. And he (Cain) was begotten in adultery, for he was the child of the serpent. So he became a murderer, just like his father, and he killed his brother. Indeed, every act of sexual intercourse which has occurred between those who are unlike one another is an act of adultery. Gospel of Philip 61:5-10

The Serpent Seed is a popular doctrine found in Christian Identity, British Israelism, Neo-Nazi and Aryan Christianity. According to their understanding, two races exist, those born from Adam (Anglo-Saxons), and those born from Cain (Africans/Jews). Cain was the offspring of Eve and the Serpent/Devil. The pure white race is meant to dominate and defeat the impure mixed race. One will be saved, the other damned. Bio-theology focuses on the purity of race and the belief that the white Aryan race is the chosen people of God.

A slightly different perspective focusses on the marriage between Lilith and Satan as being responsible for the creation of demons. Lilith was said to be Adams first wife. The reason for the confusion stems from the fact that Genesis has two creation narratives, not just one. In Genesis 1.27 God creates man and woman at the exact same time. In Genesis 2.22, God creates Eve from Adams rib. Rabbinical scholars struggled with this incongruence and decided to invent Lilith, Adams first wife. Lilith was banished from the Garden of Eden for failing to comply with Adam, disobeying him and refusing to be subservient.

After God created Adam, who was alone, He said, “It is not good for man to be alone.” He then created a woman for Adam, from the earth, as He had created Adam himself, and called her Lilith. Adam and Lilith immediately began to fight. She said, “I will not lie below,” and he said, “I will not lie beneath you, but only on top. For you are fit only to be in the bottom position, while I am to be the superior one.” Lilith responded, “We are equal to each other inasmuch as we were both created from the earth.” But they would not listen to one another. When Lilith saw this, she pronounced the Ineffable Name and flew away into the air.

Alphabet of Ben Sira 8/10th century Jewish text.

After being banished Lilith married Satan, and as they say, the rest is history. Scholars suggest that the Jews got the idea for Lilith from earlier Mesopotamian beliefs about female demons that used to cause the death of children. These ideas were mixed with the more lustful sexual aspect to help explain nocturnal emissions. They believed these emissions spawned demons and warned men not to sleep alone in a house in case Lilith came calling during the night.

Angels are always described as being male so in order to include female demons a story needed to be invented. The belief in night stalkers or night creatures also featured in Greek mythology. Lamia or Empusa were said to seduce young men and feed on them. This in turn led to the belief in female vampires sucking the blood of victims and having unbounded sexual appetites. The Lamia were either described as being a dragoness, or having a serpents body.

This connects back to Melusine the Nagini Queen, the Black Legend of Eleanor of Aquitaine, the female serpent of Notre Dame, and the devil disguised as a woman who tried to tempt Percival.

In certain texts and teachings of the church fathers, the beauty of women is blamed for causing the fall of the angels. They just couldn’t resist the allure of earthly females. In exchange for sex, the angels taught women all the secrets of heaven. This was how evil came into the world in the form of war and make up, I’m not making this up. The Book of Enoch expands on the story found in Genesis that mentions the creation of giants, the reason God sent the flood.

Genesis 6
V1 When mankind had spread all over the world, and girls were being born, some of the heavenly beings (sons of the gods, sons of God) saw that these girls were beautiful, so they took the ones they liked.

V4 In those days, and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the heavenly beings.

It is this passage that not only gives birth to demons, but for many modern day ufologists, conspiracy theorists and the just plain curious, Aliens, or the Annunaki/Nephilim as some people like to call them.
