If the White House sent out this ridiculous image a week ago when Trump was ‘Superman’, MAGA would’ve whooped and hollered. Trump signed the BBB on 4 July, the GOP smug and self congratulatory, everything was falling into place, the long desired coup achieved. Then an act of God/Man in Texas hit MAGA like a ton of bricks. A flood of biblical proportions killed dozens, which has now become hundreds. Of course it was a tragedy, regardless of politics, most decent people viewed the disaster as an American calamity, not a partisan one.
Ok some people did send out tweets and videos mocking the deaths of what was essentially, white Christian MAGA voters. I was not one of them, and I’m almost certain you weren’t either. They were rightly called out for their insensitivity, and callous, even cruel remarks. Yet no one called out the Trump administration for choosing a tragedy to further their own political ambitions. Trump thought the Texas flood would overwhelm the news cycle, and therefore decided it was a great idea to quietly release the Epstein 180. They tried to bury the story by using the deaths of children to hide their deceitful ways. Guess what, it didn’t work, in fact, it had the opposite effect.
I’ve studied MAGA and the religious right for many years, and I can tell you with utmost confidence, what is happening now has never happened before. One week after scaling the summit, and MAGA is in open revolt. What was supposed to be a victory lap is now the single biggest crisis Trump has faced since coming down the escalator almost a decade ago. They looked past ‘grab them by the p’, they looked past the sexual assault of E Jean Carrol, adultery, they looked past storming the Capitol, stealing classified documents, not paying any tax, the white supremacy and hate, even six prior bankruptcies, fiscal irresponsibility, tax cuts for the rich, creating the Covid vaccine, bombing Iran, cozying up to dictators, including Putin. They’ve ignored it all, but Epstein is literally the final straw as Elon Musk pointed out.

I’ve watched loads of videos on YouTube of MAGA influencers and rightwing podcasters, the exact same people that propelled him to victory in 2024, and they are beside themselves with anger. Anger directed at Trump, Superspam, not Superman. By posting this meme today, the White House just made things worse, much much worse. A Trump Presidency, Truth – Justice, and the American Way. These words couldn’t ring more hollow. They are empty, soulless mutterings of a pathetic pedophile protecting pos.
Most sober Americans have known this truth for many years, but now the MAGA base has finally clicked. There have been countless false positives, the moment we all think the base would snap out of the cult like worship of Trump. Yet every time he somehow manages to grift the system, to literally get away with murder. The murder/suicide of Jeffrey Epstein will not be swept under the carpet. They could have gotten away with it if they just stuck with suicide, but then they included the small detail that the case was closed. No further investigation, no accountability, no TRUTH or JUSTICE, the one thing the base craves more than anything.
The sexual abuse of children is one step too far. They can’t and won’t let it slide, and they should not. If Bill Clinton or Bill Gates are on the client list, nail them. Pedophilia is not a partisan thing. Whomever participated in the perversion needs to be held accountable, that’s my take, and I think most people agree. No one gets a free pass, not even the Plastic Messiah. We are witnessing the end of Donald Trump and the entire GOP Christian holier-than-thou freak show that enabled his rise. It might not be today or tomorrow, but it is inevitable. And best of all, if the uprising comes, which it will, MAGA will no longer have Trump’s back, he is now a symbol of the Deep State, he has become the Swamp King, the one thing they despise more than liberals.
