Not so long ago I posted an image of the New Jerusalem in the shape of a cube and asked a simple question, what does the Holy of Holies, the Kaaba, and Christian interpretation of heaven have in common? Most people didn’t really know, in fact only one person answered correctly. What was more troubling is the fact that quite a few people made comments about the Black Cube of Saturn. I didn’t really known what they were talking about so I watched a podcast on the topic.
Social media is great and all of that, but wow, so much misinformation, disinformation, and just outright bs seems to be the norm. People are ignorant of the truth and then just make up stuff as they go along, the black cube conspiracy being the perfect example. What is even more disturbing is the tendency to mask white supremacist militant Christianity in a halo of holiness.
Confirmation bias tends to be the common denominator. People so badly want to believe in the New World Order and some diabolical conspiracy, that they blame everyone but themselves for the state of society. The chief culprit being the Devil himself, Satan, or rather Saturn. Instead of facing the truth that their own religion uses the cube as a symbol for heaven and the New Jerusalem, they blame the Jews and Muslims.
For example; the cross of Christianity is the cube broken down, Jesus dying saves us and destroys the evil cube. One of the main pitfalls, if not the main pitfall on the spiritual path is the intersection of conspiracy and consciousness. Spiritual warfare, warriors of light, us against them. Of course evil exists, the abuse of children by priests affirms this reality. But does it really exist in the way fundamentalists propose it does?
The Black Pope, the evil Templars and Freemasons, occult symbolism in pop culture. I could go on and on but at some point it just gets boring, mind numbingly tedious. Religion is not the same as spirituality. Very often spiritual people are branded as evil by religious zealots. Instead of facing the truth of their own delusion, they project their fears and insecurities onto others. Saturn has nothing to do with the cube. In much the same way that the pentagram is not a symbol of the devil.
Centuries of propaganda have twisted the original meaning of certain symbols into something sinister.
